Ignaz Friedman (1882-1948) was a Polish pianist and composer, and was considered as one of the most suprime of his time. Musicians such as Horowitz, Rachmaninoff or Godowsky were amongst the ones admiring his unique style. Some of his Chopin interpretations, particularly those of the mazurkas, are considered by many to be unsurpassed. His 5 Waltzes, Op. 51 were written and published in 1912. Recording made in Brussels, 2022
