Buttonwood Campground! Family Fun in the Juanita River Valley! | Pennsylvania RV Camping

In this Episode: Join us in August of 2024 as we’ve returned home to Pennsylvania where we’ll be checking another experience off our bucket list! Welcome to Buttonwood, one of Pennsylvania’s most popular campgrounds! Buttonwood is a privately owned campground located in the Juniata River Valley near Mifflintown, PA. The highlight of this campground is going to be floating down the Juniata River. For a small fee, the campground staff will shuttle you upstream and provide tubes to float back down to the campground. While at the campground, we also were able to take part in some other activities such as mini golf. They have lots of the kids, and some things for the adults to enjoy as well. Juniata Valley Winery has a stand on site where you can get some amazing wine slushies. While this is not the norm for us and our RV camping adventures, it was fun to try something new! We really enjoyed our stay here and the amenities they had to offer. I highly recommend this campground to those looking for a camping resort experience! Next Week: Crossing the Susquehanna!
