The Roughest of Journeys, Michigan to Pennsylvania...

In this Episode: Join us on our July 2024 adventure from Pennsylvania to Pure Michigan! We are excited to share our experience! Sadly our Michigan shenanigans are coming to a close. Our journey takes us south, to what was supposed to be one of Ohio’s best State Parks, Maumee Bay. It might very well be, but it didn’t have its best showing for our stay. There, we found; algal blooms, mosquitos, high temperatures, and just circumstances out of our control. While this State Park has quite a bit of potential, we had quite a rough go at it. While this journey didn’t agree with us, its disappointment pales in comparison to what was to come. The following night; Trigger, our beloved Springer Spaniel, took a turn for the worse. He had been suffering from a cancerous tumor for several months, yet seemed to be in good spirits. He did quite well for this whole 2,000 mile journey to the Upper Peninsula and back, even going with us over to Mackinac Island. Trigger always enjoyed traveling with us, and we were able to take him all over the country as we RV’d. The next day would be his last. We miss him terribly, and life will never be the same without him. He had 10 solid years, and was lucky enough to go out on his terms with minimal suffering.
