MSX Unleashed
In 2006, Daniel Vik (aka dvik), the main coder of the great blueMSX emulator, and Vincent van Dam (aka joyrex), the author of fMSX-SDL, have united for the first time their forces to make an astonishing megademo that reveals unsuspected features of the MSX1 system. You can find here especially a sine scroller on background of a giant scroller, interlaced pictures in screen 2 with a maximum of 105 colors and a fullscreen animation with using of the bottom border. As on the Blend demo, joyrex has used the PT3 format to create surprizing PSG songs. You will not see here the flickering on the interlaced pictures as I have used a feature of blueMSX allowing to blend consecutive frames ! Useful keys : spacebar to go to next part of the demo, F5 to access to the bonus part with all the technical explanations. The different parts : Intro -- Music : MSX Unleashed Intro Sine Scroll -- Music : PSGscape Slideshow -- Music : Mr Prikker Credits Scroller -- Music : PSGscape Fullscreen Animation -- Music : Borders End -- Music : Raving Johnny Bonus Video created with the great blueMSX emulator ! dvik & joyrex : http://www.dvik-joyrex.com/ blueMSX : http://www.bluemsx.com/ MSX blue : http://www.msxblue.com/?page_id=5292
