PERU - praca w jednej z najbardziej niebezpiecznych części kraju

Peru has been grappling with a migration crisis for years. The political situation in Venezuela and the tensions arising on the continent are forcing people to seek a better place to live. Most people settle in the suburbs of Lima, hoping for job opportunities. Peruvians from small towns and the jungle also come to the capital seeking employment. Work is very difficult to obtain. Living in constant poverty results in an increase in crime. Mafia gangs are forming around Lima, taking control of various areas of life. Murders of bus drivers are occurring. If a bus company fails to pay protection money on time, the mafia kills its employees as a warning. We came to one of the poorest parts of Lima, to Sister Barbara, who has been on a mission in Peru for years. We brought 150 kg of clothing for children living in the slums. Dozens of people from all over Poland helped us collect all the donations, and we sincerely thank everyone for their help, generosity, and commitment. To break the cycle of poverty once and for all, children need school. A good education, after which they can find honest work. One educated child can lift an entire family from the brink of poverty. The fundraiser we organized meets a fraction of the need. Dozens of children will receive clothes and a teddy bear. I believe every child deserves a cuddly toy. But this isn't the kind of help that will truly change these children's futures and give them a chance at a better life. That requires education. If you'd like to help, adoptions of hearts are being offered worldwide—funding a child's education. It's not a large sum. Depending on the country, tuition starts at just a few dozen złoty per month. Many organizations allow you to stay in touch with your adopted child. If you so desire, you can send letters, emails, or video chat. If you have the desire and opportunity, I strongly encourage you to take charge of your child's education and truly change their future and that of their loved ones.
