Niigata Prefecture's Sado Island Gold Mine is aiming to be registered as a World Heritage Site. We consider town development to attract tourists. In the Aikawa region, home to the gold mine, one organization has built a unique hotel. Their vision is to "develop Aikawa as a town 100 years into the future."
