The Aikawa Kurumaza Project is a regional revitalization project that renovates historic, vacant houses and old folk houses around the Sado Gold Mine, turning the entire town into a single hotel and developing a decentralized accommodation facility (NIPPONIA Sado Aikawa Kanayamacho).
