POV Drive Millenia Blvd Orlando | Mall at Millenia Loop

This POV drive follows Millenia Boulevard in Orlando, starting at John Young Parkway and heading west toward the Millenia area. The route includes a full driving loop around The Mall at Millenia, then continues back on Millenia Boulevard, ending at Oak Ridge Road. This drive shows one of Orlando’s busiest retail and commercial districts, with direct access to major roads, shopping centers, hotels, and residential developments. Millenia Boulevard connects John Young Parkway to the Mall at Millenia area and nearby business corridors. As you approach the mall, you’ll see multiple entrances, parking structures, and surrounding retail spaces. The Mall at Millenia features over 150 stores and is a major shopping destination in Central Florida. Nearby, the area includes hotels, restaurants, and office buildings that support both local traffic and tourism. The drive also runs close to Interstate 4, one of the main highways through Orlando, providing access to downtown, theme parks, and surrounding suburbs. About The Mall at Millenia: The Mall at Millenia opened in 2002 and was developed as a high-end retail center to complement Orlando’s growing tourism and residential population. It was built on former industrial land and designed as a modern indoor shopping mall with a focus on national and international brands. The mall quickly became one of the top shopping locations in the Orlando area, drawing both tourists and local residents. Its location near Interstate 4 and major roads like John Young Parkway helped support high visitor traffic and ongoing development in the Millenia district. Today, the Millenia area continues to grow with new apartments, hotels, and commercial spaces, making it a key part of Orlando’s retail economy. This POV video captures the full Millenia Boulevard drive, including the mall loop, traffic flow, and surrounding development in this part of Orlando. There are a few specific goals of Travel Towner: 1. To take fun POV (“Point-of-View”) videos of scenic drives, highways, and roadways so you can virtually travel anywhere you like; or look back at a time when you were younger. 2. Document a fun walking tour of a specific park, attraction, or point of interest so you can see what's it's like to really be there. 3. Showcase vintage footage from yesteryear to show today's viewers what is may have been like back in 19- something something! If you have any vintage footage of past attractions, parks, road trips or anything interesting from the USA? Contact me and let’s feature it here! 4. Just for Fun. These are videos that are funny or interesting in some way that I think everyone will enjoy! Please give a "thumbs up" if you like taking a POV Road Trip or love POV driving. Want to get in on the fun and make cool videos too? Here is everything I use to make it happen: (Please note I may make a commission as an Amazon Associate if you purchase- thank you for supporting this channel!): The iMac to edit: https://amzn.to/4sKgopU Video Camera: https://amzn.to/3xwP29F Steadycam: https://amzn.to/3wvdaIv Media: https://amzn.to/3hS4Ihp Another big part of the channel is to document a piece of Americana… at a certain point in time. Wouldn’t it be cool to go back to where you lived, 20 or 30 years ago, and take a ride through your hometown? As more roadway drives, walking tours, and vintage trips are added, it builds history so future viewers can go “back in time” and see what it was like, back then. Roadtripping and traveling are uniquely American pastimes- and we should preserve it’s history- so future generations can appreciate the Freedom of the Road.
