Isabella's Seizures
This is my daughter having a prolonged seizure . This one like many others she's had since 10 months of age took 45 minutes to resolve. She required emergency medication twice to bring her out. She is only five and has had hundreds of these. She has been diagnosed with a rare form of epilepsy called Dravet syndrome. She will never outgrow them and there is no cure. medications do not control them. More research is needed to find the answer as many more babies today and tomorrow will be diagnosed. You can donate to the Idealeague or the Dravet Syndrome Foundation to help find a cure.
