SNOW HAS A DANGEOUS AND SCARY MOMENT AT STORMS RIVER MOUTH TRAIL IN AFRICA - EVERYONE HAD WARNED US

Welcome back to another Snow and Curt adventure! We’ve set up camp in an incredible location: the Storms River Camp in South Africa, perfectly situated above the massive, crashing waves of the Indian Ocean. This is the starting point for one of the most famous hikes in the country! We embark on the epic Storms River Mouth Trail, crossing those stunning suspension bridges that span a deep canyon. The views are unmatched, but the path ahead holds more danger than we realized. Everyone had warned us about this trail, and for good reason. Just as Snow is pushing her limits—with her weakened heart condition, the unexpected happens. Snow has a dangerous and scary moment on the trail. A close encounter with something deadly that stops us in our tracks. This was our first time facing this type of peril in over 6 years of traveling. Ultimately, the hike proves too much for Snow, but Curt manages to finish the rest of the trek, bringing you along for one of the most scenic and breathtaking journeys in South Africa.
