This iconic Drakensberg Amphitheatre hike takes us right to the top, where the Tugela River plunges over the edge. The Ascent: The hike up is challenging, requiring intense scrambling and navigating chain ladders fixed to the sheer rock face. The views, however, are absolutely breathtaking and worth every ounce of effort. The Summit: Witness the staggering perspective from the top of the Amphitheatre, looking out over the entire landscape! The Descent: While the climb was stunningly difficult, the way down proved to be truly TERRIFYING.
