For those among you who could not get the soundtrack until end of October, Nexon's game music label NECORD decided to add an online sale of this popular album. Mabinogi can be considered a pioneer game that cleared the way for a whole new generation of MMORPGs. First released in 2004, it can still pride itself on having a huge fan-base 12 years later, and many great music scores are still written for Mabinogi today. The following music album contains the finest pieces of music created between 2014 and 2016. The title song is called “An old Story from Grandma” and has been the congratulation song for the 10 year anniversary of the franchise. It is the nostalgic welcoming tune right at the login screen of the game. Taking the idea of a family that comes together after 10 years to tell fantastic stories from the past, this track grew quite famous and has seen dozens of different versions, remixes and tributes by fans. The second main track of this album is called 'Midnight's Innocence', the main theme of the Succubus Queen. In a gigantic underground monastery, nearly impossible to be found and filled by a heavy and mystical atmosphere. And within this unwelcoming monastery dungeon, the glamorous yet elegant 'Succubus Queen' awaits you. The succubus might be her original form, but you won't be able to believe this once you see her graceful beauty. The contradiction of this pureness and beauty in the midst of cold evil, and the danger when first standing against this wicked queen is well expressed by the song 'Midnight's Innocence'. The fast and dramatic piano arpeggios, combined with a bittersweet melody, will cause you to be even more fascinated by your own doom.
