Uganda's New Fuel Logistics Terminal Road Is Taking Shape

In today's video, we're taking you on an exclusive tour of the Kawuku–Bwerenga Road, a strategic road under construction that connects the Kampala–Entebbe Highway to the Lake Victoria Logistics Fuel Storage Terminal in Bwerenga, Wakiso District. This important road project is being developed to support one of Uganda's largest fuel logistics investments. Once completed, it will provide reliable access to the fuel storage terminal, improve the movement of heavy fuel trucks, reduce transport costs, and ease traffic congestion on the Kampala–Entebbe Highway. The logistics terminal, with its massive fuel storage capacity and modern lake transport system, is expected to strengthen Uganda's fuel supply and boost regional trade. During this ride, we'll explore the current construction progress, view the earthworks, drainage systems, and road preparations, and visit the impressive logistics terminal along the shores of Lake Victoria. Although the road is still under construction and waiting for the final tarmac layer, the transformation is already visible.
