97ª Adunata Alpini Genova 2026 | Visita alla Cittadella degli Alpini

On Saturday, May 9th, I visited the Cittadella degli Alpini, set up in the Brignole Gardens for the 97th Alpine Reunion, which this year is taking place in Genoa. As soon as I arrived, I met an Army soldier from the Taurinense Alpine Brigade, who welcomed us and invited us to follow him on a brief tour of the citadel. The purpose of the initiative is to showcase the capabilities of the Army's Alpine Troops in various areas: training, operations, and support for the population through relief activities in the event of public disasters. This video shows just a few of the many stands set up for the occasion. At the end of the visit, we attended the flag-lowering ceremony, accompanied by the music of the Mameli Anthem and the anthem of the "Taurinense" Alpine Brigade.
