97ª Adunata degli Alpini a Genova – Musica, cori e incontri nel cuore della città!

It's Friday, May 8th, and my journey through Genoa's historic center continues for the 97th Alpine Rally. Amid historic alleys, crowded squares, and a wealth of Alpine music, we experience a truly special evening together! In this video: We listen to the choir singing a famous Northern Italian folk song, "Le 11 ore." We meet a group from Vinadio singing "Madonnina dai riccioli d'oro," where I also meet Oscar Puntel. We cross the evocative, thousand-year-old portico of Sottoripa, always filled with music and cheer. We arrive in Piazza delle Cinque Lampadi, where a group from Bassano del Grappa sings the legendary "Romagna mia." Passing through Via San Lorenzo and Piazza Giacomo Matteotti, I also meet two girls who have come to experience these incredible days in Genoa firsthand. We take a break at the quaint Il Cavalier Marino, on Via di Porta Soprana, a stone's throw from the Sant'Andrea Towers, where I meet a band from Pavullo nel Frignano, in the province of Modena. In Piazza De Ferrari, we listen to the Abruzzo band led by Ezio Alfonsi singing the famous "Vecchio Scarpone." And finally, we return to Piazza Matteotti, surrounded by an extraordinary band that truly manages to "ignite" the audience! A journey through friendship, tradition, Alpine choirs, and the unique atmosphere of the Alpine Gathering in Genoa. Filmed, Edited, and Directed by Bruno Cherin
