Green Arrow is the UNDERDOG of the Justice League
Green Arrow has proven to be one of the most underrated yet prominent members of the Justice League in DC Comics. Much of the character's popularity stems from the CW Arrowverse, with shows like Arrow and The Flash. However, many problems with that depiction arise from the blatant comparisons and similarities with Batman, sharing similar villains such as Ra's Al Ghul, the Suicide Squad (comprising Deadshot & Harley Quinn), as well as Deathstroke as a season 2 villain. More prominent adaptations either skip over important elements or give him very little screen time, as seen in the "tomorrow verse" in Green Lantern: Beware My Power. Justice League Unlimited in the DCAU and Young Justice have done the best job of incorporating Green Arrow and Black Canary into the wider DC Universe. It demonstrates how they can stand alongside league members like Superman and Wonder Woman. Injustice 2 also featured Black Canary and Green Arrow in the main game. For the future of James Gunn's DCU, it would be in everyone's best interest to implement the Green Arrow character in some way, shape, or form. #greenarrow #theflash #dcu #dccomics #jamesgunn #batman #justiceleague #youngjustice #injustice2 #superman
