So, in each episode, you'll find a DELICIOUS recipe that reflects someone's longing. Ingredients: For the sponge cake: 4 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 tablespoon butter for greasing the pan and all-purpose flour. For the whipped cream: 400g fresh cream For the pineapple jam 1 pineapple, peeled and cored 2 cups sugar 500ml water To finish: Fresh shredded coconut 3 tablespoons sugar Instructions: To make the sponge cake: Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) for 15 minutes. Separate the egg whites from the yolks and set aside. In a mixer, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then add the egg yolks while the mixer is still running. Then, add the sugar and continue beating. Add the flour and turn off the mixer. Grease a pan with butter and flour. Add the batter and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown. To make the pineapple jam: Cut the pineapple into small cubes. In a saucepan, add the sugar, water, and pineapple. Bring to a boil and cook until the syrup thickens. To make the whipped cream: In a mixer, add the heavy cream and beat until it reaches a whipped cream consistency. Add the sugar, continuing to beat, and that's it. To finish: To assemble the pie, once the sponge cake is ready and cooled, use a knife to poke several holes throughout the cake. Spread the pineapple syrup with the pineapple chunks over the entire cake. Then, add the coconut and finish with whipped cream. Refrigerate the pie for at least an hour and a half.
