December 23, 1999, Kawasaki Racecourse, 12th Race, Day 4, Thoroughbred, 3-Year-Old, Central, Local, and National Exchange The all-rounder. This was his first major race victory. He had been on a winning streak up until that point, but after switching to turf, his finishing positions and popularity dropped, (Until 2002, there was no trifecta, so betting on anything other than place and wide bets was off the table. I never even bought wide bets...) Well, it was just the right time, and he got into the top tier and brought in some good payouts. After his victory in the Unicorn Stakes, his breakthrough race, I started following his betting digitally. I never thought he'd go on to win an overseas GI race. RIP.
