Alfred Hitchcock and the Three Investigators - a series of classic mystery novels for children and young adults. Dating back to the 1960's, these gripping tales had me captivated as a kid. Alfred Hitchcock did NOT write them, or have any part in their creation as far as I can tell, but he does appear as a recurring character throughout the books, and is credited with writing the introductions and epilogues. The stories feature three boys, aged around 13 or 14, who hire themselves out as a sort of juvenile detective agency, to adults who have a mystery that needs solving, often involving apparent supernatural activities, or crimes. Frequently these clients are referred to the Three Investigators by Alfred Hitchcock himself, having been impressed with the services that they provided to him in the first book. I fell in love with these books while on a camping trip at the age of about 8 or 9, and spent the remainder of the holiday devouring more in this series, and also Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys - books in a similar vein which I may discuss in future videos if this one proves popular!
