Trains at Morpeth featuring The Tynesider (04/07/26)

Another video back at Morpeth! It has been a long time since I was here. I came here to see the Tynesider Tour which was terminating at Morpeth. It was operated by Battle of Britain Class 34067 Tangmere. It was better as it didn't fail from the last time where the 47 had to take the tour back to Newcastle. This time, Tangmere didn't fail as it felt more like a steam engine. We gotten the usual traction that comes through here. We saw a Class 220 with the New Livery as that livery is starting to be seen more often. as it glided through the station. Some LNER Azumas passing through as one of them had the Bradford 2025 livery. Northern 156s arriving in and heading to the sidings. Then the Class 47 pulled the tour as Tangmere pushed the coaches in as it arrived into Morpeth. It overshot the platform as it arrived where it was supposed to be where the switch was but they decided to go towards the other end on the curve. It looked amazing when it shunted the stock in with the 47 pulling it. It only had 10 minutes as the crowd gathered around taking photos and passengers hopped on board to return to London. It was going via the Northumerland Line which marks the first steam train to go via the Northumberland Line with all stations open. It departed loudly and steamed its way to London as the steam only went to York as the 86 took over the tour. We were planning to see a Double Lumo 803 in this video but we then headed for tea. We also gotten some photos near the Network Rail Maintenance site at Morpeth where VolkerRail Tampers are stabled and only operated around Morpeth and head to Chevington or Belford if required. In this video we see 5 LNER Trains, 3 Cross Country Trains, 2 Northern Trains, 1 Lumo Train and 1 WCR Train. Quite some action through here!
