【ハイキング】富士吉田口登山道　馬返し〜五合目は入山料不要になりました。

Summary July 9, 2026 (Thursday) This time, I hiked the Fujiyoshida trail from Uma-gaeshi to the 5th station. I often visit this route during the hot season because the transportation costs are low and the altitude is high, but the cost-effectiveness has decreased because they charge an entrance fee at the 5th station. From this year, the route from Uma-gaeshi, through Sato Hut, to the 5th station no longer requires an entrance fee, so I came again. It's a route from Tokyo that allows you to climb to an altitude of 2300m for around 7000 yen. From Fujisan Station, I arrived at Uma-gaeshi by jumbo taxi. The Fuji Climbing Race will be held on the 24th of this month, so there were many people doing trial runs. At the Suzuhara Shrine at the 1st station, the building had been removed and archaeological excavations were being conducted. The 2nd station is the site of the Omuro Sengen Shrine. Apparently, in the past, women were forbidden from going above this point. The 3rd station is a place with a good view, but today it was cloudy and hazy. At the 4.5th station, at the site of the Inoue Hut where the Gozaishi rock is located, mountain columbines were in bloom. Upon arriving at Sato Hut, everything was shrouded in white. From here to the fifth station, the path is called the Komitake Trail, a relatively level and easy walk. I received a pass from an attendant before Izumigataki waterfall, passed through the gate at the fifth station, and returned the pass at the information center.
