Triumph and Heartbreak | Racing two E-types at Goodwood | Driver diary

Could there be anything more magical than racing not one, but two Jaguar E-types at the Goodwood Revival? Well, as magical as it might be, there's probably just as equal an amount of pressure that comes with steering these legendary machines in close combat with other near-priceless racing cars. That was the challenge that faced historic racing guru Gary Pearson and current Le Mans racer Alex Brundle at Goodwood SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard. The pair were taking part in both the Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy (the renamed Kinrara Trophy) and the RAC TT Celebration, two of Goodwood's most important races and regulars cornerstones to the Goodwood Revival. How would their weekend turn out? We followed the pair through the event as they attacked the two races, attempting to do what would be an historic double.
