Stunning battle | 2020 Lavant Cup full race | Goodwood SpeedWeek 2020

The 2020 Lavant Cup combined elements of the Sussex Trophy for later '50s sportscar and the Freddie March Memorial Trophy for the slightly earlier racers from the 1950s, both staple races of the Goodwood Revival. At SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard that meant a race filled with D-types, Maserati Birdcage, Tojeiro, Lister Costin, Maserati 300S, Coopers and more. The battle at the head of the field was between the Lister Costin of Goodwood regular James Cottingham and former Sebring 12 Hour winner Marino Franchitti, who was gunning for his first ever Goodwood win. Between them they floated their cars on the very edge of grip in a stunning ballet of racing cars we won't forget for a while.
