Residents of Drzonów near Kołobrzeg have been living in fear of an aggressive neighbor for months. According to reports, the 44-year-old man allegedly threatened people with dangerous weapons, vandalized cars, and behaved irrationally. Police intervened against him over 30 times, and the prosecutor's office filed further charges. Despite alarms from residents, local authorities, and emergency services, the court refused to grant him pretrial detention. Ultimately, the man was placed in a psychiatric ward. However, this leaves questions about why previous actions proved ineffective and whether this escalation could have been prevented. Will the man be subjected to compulsory treatment? Why did residents feel abandoned for so many months?
