With the recent news of the UP Donation Special leaving for Silvis in only a few days, heres another video from my archive. The Challenger Special depicts Union Pacific 3985 operating excursions in 1981, shortly following its 2 year long restoration taking place from 1979 to 1981. this program was produced by De Luz Video, a long forgotten video company that operated out of Fall Brook, California from the late 1970s until the early 1980s. Nickel Plated Productions does not lay claim to the ownership of this program or its copyright. Ownership/Copyright belongs to De Luz Video. This has been uploaded in an effort to preserve its historical contents.
