Meanwhile, the KRI Marlin 877 continued search operations in Sector I, covering an area of ​​102 nm², as per the operational plan (Search and Rescue Planning/SARMAP). The Head of the Makassar Class A Search and Rescue Office (Basarnas), Muhammad Arif Anwar, stated that the additional sea and air forces were being implemented to optimize the chances of finding the remaining missing victims. "On the third day of the operation, we increased our search and rescue efforts by deploying the KN SAR Kamajaya and a Boeing B737-200 aircraft from Sultan Hasanuddin Air Force Base.
