A day after her allegations, Congress MLA Rahul Mamkootathil resigned as the state Youth Congress president, though he remains an MLA. While Rini didn’t directly name him, speculation centered on Rahul, who later denied the charges and called her a close friend. Following her revelations, author Hani Bhaskaran also came forward with similar allegations against Rahul, raising questions about Congress’s inaction despite repeated complaints.
