Fujifilm 16-80mm A Year After... Let's be clear

Why the hate for this lens? Let's try to debunk some of the fake news around this travel lens from Fuji. The lens was released a bit more than a year ago, and i bought it on day one as i needed it for a photography workshop Iceland. I've been using this lens relentlessly in every possible condition and without any additional care. Too many people talk about stuff they don't know.
