Rear fuselage COMPLETE - Hawker Typhoon RB396

Finally, the "fanning around" has been finished on this section of the rebuild - if you know you know. This Timelapse captures the rebuild, once it progressed to the custom built jig, from start to finish. So, naturally, some of the work has already been captured in previous time-lapse videos. However, this is the whole thing, up to completion, as can be seen at the end. The rear fuselage is now complete, and a completion ceremony was held for project supporters and invited guests on the 30th October at Airframe Assemblies on the Isle of Wight, proceeded by a remembrance ceremony for Typhoon pilots lost during WWII, at Pankhurst Military Cemetery. A draw was conducted on the day, with a number of lucky supporters drawn to fix the final rivets in the fuselage - what a privilege. The full write up from the event, and gallery of the finished section, is available on our website - www.hawkertyphoon.com and the focus now shifts to further fundraising to allow the rebuild to continue. More support is always needed, so if you'd like to see RB396 fly, please consider supporting.
