Can we beat the WLTP consumption estimate on a real-world road trip? That was the challenge for this return trip from Algarve to Lisbon in my XPeng G6, avoiding highways and using only urban and regional roads to maximize energy efficiency. ➡️ The goal? See if we could go below the WLTP-rated consumption on a 340km drive. 📉 The result? Despite a lower overall consumption of 15 kWh/100km, we couldn’t beat the WLTP rating—and it came with a big cost: more time, more effort, and mountain routes that ruined the test!
