Coaxing Generative Ambient Music out of the Make Noise 0-Coast (Krell Patch with Quantization)
My latest loan from the venerable Portland Synth Library is a Make Noise 0-Coast, which has a reputation for being a brutal noise monster. But after a few sessions exploring its abilities in generative patching with randomized feedback, I found that it's got a big old soft side, provided you have enough reverb. I'm really looking forward to playing with this box some more. Thanks for listening! Patch Notes (synth nerds only!) This one's mostly generated by the 0-Coast, with quantization by the Moog Mother-32 off-screen.
