Railtours.1990."Barry Bucketter" 5 class 37s & Severn Thames Crompton 33+ 37
Starting at Cardiff on August 19th 1990, we join the train for the 1st leg of the tour to Bridgend. We then reverse along the Vale of Glamorgan Line to the Open Day at Barry Rail Depot. Amongst the visitors are 3 Deltics and class 59/47/37. Alas our cameraman didn't record all the exhibits before joining the train for Cardiff and Radyr. At this point the recording covers a run down to Cardiff Bay, as it's now called, but with 33064/37697, The "Severn Thames Crompton" on the same day! The tape is from Rowland Pittards collection.
