Auf dem Caminho Português, Tag 10 - fast geschafft.

Today, with a heavy heart, I leave the monastery in Herbon, where I would have loved to stay a while longer. But it's no use; the road calls, and I decide not to walk directly to Santiago, but instead make another stop. This has the advantage of giving me plenty of time the next day and allowing me to arrive in Santiago early in the morning. This also allows me to avoid the large crowds of pilgrims.
