Climate Careers & Interview Prep

Act on Climate is a dedicated platform for individuals passionate about advancing climate solutions in a structured, collaborative way. Our company hosted a Climate Careers Bootcamp Series. The event series focused on helping individuals learn more about the climate space and get involved. The Climate Careers & Interview Prep looked at how, participants will learn how to approach common interview questions unique to sustainability and climate roles, how to demonstrate genuine mission alignment, and how to reframe transferable skills in a way that speaks to the values and priorities of climate employers. The session will focus on understanding systems thinking rather than looking at a tick-box exercise required to get through interviews. Sustainability and climate change work requires genuine passion which needs to come through in interviews and networking. This workshop was led by Gautami Bhor who is a sustainability consultant who is an ambassador for individual behaviour change and thought leadership. Involved in Materiality and impact assessments, GHG accounting, Reporting frameworks and standards, Sustainability strategy and capability building workshops for NZ organisations. A keen interest in sustainable food systems.
