Developed by Konami and released on November 2001, Jurassic Park III uses the same cabinet and motion sensor technology as Police 911, requiring players to dodge the oncoming dinosaur attacks. It was preceded by The Lost World: Jurassic Park in 1997, also a light gun game, but from Sega. The Konami Viper is a 32-bit arcade system board released in the late 1990s and early 2000s. It is essentially half standard arcade board and half customized retro gaming PC, known for powering highly realistic racing cabinets, light-gun shooters, and motion-capture sports games. Technical Specs: The system uses standard PC architecture combined with custom Konami ASICs, usually running Windows 98/embedded variants to render early 3D polygons.Emulation: Because of its unique half-PC architecture, emulating the Konami Viper required complex updates, but titles like Thrill Drive 2 are successfully playable via the MAME emulator.
