Nicaragua alza la voz en la ONU: “Amenazar a Cuba es amenazar la paz de América Latina y el Caribe”.

The Nicaraguan delegation condemned the intensification of the blockade and energy embargo against Cuba at the General Assembly. “Cuba does not threaten anyone. Cuba saves lives, trains doctors, shares science, culture, education, health, and solidarity with the peoples of the Global South. To threaten Cuba is to threaten the peace of Latin America and the Caribbean. Any military action against Cuba would have extremely serious consequences for regional and international stability and would constitute a direct violation of the proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a zone of peace.”
