The Chinese delegation condemned the intensification of the blockade and energy embargo against Cuba at the General Assembly, calling it a flagrant violation of international law and the UN Charter. China urged the international community to oppose these unilateral measures and uphold fairness. The representative denounced that the unilateral measures imposed over six decades have generated an “immense catastrophe” for the Cuban people, with accumulated losses exceeding $170 billion.
