Wollongong Deep Drop Wreck Fishing

🌅 *Before the sun was up, it was time for another solo mission!* With glassy seas and perfect conditions off Wollongong, I headed offshore with one goal in mind... *finding new deep-dropping wrecks* for future adventures with The Salty Badger crew. Armed with the *Penn Fathom 50 electric deep-drop rig* and plenty of optimism, I explored some promising deep-water structure looking for quality table fish. I also packed the *Shimano Ocea Jigger* for some manual jigging whenever the opportunity presented itself. I even made a run out over the continental shelf, but Mother Nature had other plans. The wind picked up, the current started ripping, and staying on the marks became nearly impossible. While the fish weren't exactly the trophy species I was hoping for, every trip teaches you something... and this one produced a *brand new species for The Salty Badger!* 😂 *The legendary BALLBAG!* Sometimes it's not about filling the esky—it's about exploring new ground, learning new spots, and having a laugh along the way.
