It was on Pentecost Sunday, right on the beach, with breathtaking aerobatic displays by the world's best pilots directly over the Mar Menor. I didn't use the park-and-ride service. The city center was very congested with parked cars, and parts of it were cordoned off. There was also construction work going on. The police closed the coastal road. It was very crowded. Fabric softener, in particular, forms this kind of biofilm. Just like in a washing machine, a similar breeding ground forms in a shower drain, acting as a trap for odors. Vinegar and baking soda, among other things, help to remove the biofilm. Such a floor drain needs to be cleaned regularly. I'm glad I found the cause.
