Serious damage may occur. • Raise vehicle only on jack stands or on a vehicle lift. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (1) PREP MISHIMOTO RADIATOR FOR INSTALL 1. Begin by preparing the Mishimoto radiator, install the rubber bushings into the brackets. 2. Next install the metal collars into the rubber bushings. 3. Bolt the brackets to the radiator using the supplies hardware and 13mm socket. One bracket will have a large hole on the end' this will create easy access to the radiator drain plug. 4. The radiator assembly is now complete. (2) REMOVING THE RADIATOR 1. First jack the vehicle up and place it safely on jack stands. 2. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery. 3. Next locate the radiator drain plug on the passenger side of the radiator and drain all coolant. Remove coolant reservoir cap to speed up the draining process. 4. Remove the overflow hose from the reservoir tank. 5. Remove the bolts holding the overflow tank to the radiator support. Remove the overflow reservoir from the vehicle. 6. Remove the upper radiator hose. 7. Disconnect the lower radiator hose. 8. For vehicles with automatic transmissions, remove the transmission cooler lines from the radiator at this time. 9. Next unplug the harness from the cool fan shroud. 10. Remove both upper radiator mounts, which are secured by 8mm bolts. 11. Remove the radiator and fan shroud assembly from the vehicle. (3) INSTALLING THE MISHIMOTO RADIATOR 1. First use an 8mm socket to remove the fan shroud from the stock radiator and transfer this to the Mishimoto radiator. 2. Position the Mishimoto radiator in the vehicle. Be sure the dowels on the brackets slip into the lower mounting isolators on the radiator support. 3. Reinstall the upper radiator mounts. 4. Plug the fan harness back into the shroud. 5. If you have an automatic vehicle, reinstall the transmission cooler lines into the Mishimoto radiator. 6. Reinstall the lower radiator hose. 7. Reinstall the upper radiator hose. 8. Reinstall the coolant reservoir tank and connect the reservoir hose to the radiator. 9. Reconnect the negative battery terminal. 10. Refill the coolant system with a 50/50 mix of coolant and distilled water. Start the vehicle and turn the heater on high. Allow the vehicle to reach operating temperature, check for leaks, and top off the cooling system.
