Classic TV Theme: Dempsey & Makepeace (Two Versions)

This expensively produced (for its time) British show used the fish-out-of-water premise to bring a hot-headed American cop to London and pair him up with a female Brit. It was quite successful in Europe; Tribune co-produced the show with London Weekend Television and remade the British opening titles into an 'explainer' for US audiences. We have both the British titles and credits plus the Americanized version. Music is by Alan Parker.
