Sewing tutorial: How to make a neck tie for BJDs, with pattern tutorial
Hi everyone! This week I'm sharing my first sewing tutorial. I thought it was best to start with something easy, so I'll be teaching you how to create your own pattern and make a neck tie for your dolls. The pattern instructions allow for a seam allowance of one quarter inch. The tie you make can be any size or scale you want, though real ties like these work best for 1/3 dolls. If you choose to make the tie smaller than 1/2" at the narrow end, you will need to trim your seam allowance to turn it right side out! If you don't have the tools you need to draft your own pattern, you can download a printable PDF copy of the pattern I created by visiting this page on my website: http://ithilear.com/sewing-patterns-f... Please remember that all patterns offered through my website are for personal use only. Next week I'll be sharing a little information about a special project I'll be working on, so I hope to see you then! Happy sewing, and don't forget to show me what you make! -------------------- Find me, and more updates about my dolls and work: ★ Blog: http://www.ithilear.com ★ Instagram: / lomilmalinde ★ Twitter: @bnalvarez -------------------- ♫ Music: Distant by Micah Dixon / micah-dixon-5 Used with personal permission. . ♥ . ♥ .♥ .
