In this video from the Juliano Abelha channel, we were called to rescue a swarm that was preventing the coffee harvest on a rural property. The workers couldn't continue their work because the bees were attacking anyone who approached the area. Upon arriving at the location, we found a swarm installed in a small mound, right next to a coffee plant. Although it looked small from the outside, the bees were lodged underground, which required considerable care during removal. We removed the honeycombs, transferred the material to frames, and placed everything in the box. The most interesting thing was seeing the bees entering their new home in an organized and calm manner. We couldn't locate the queen during the handling, but Kátia observed a bee quickly entering the box and believes it could be the queen, although it's not possible to confirm.
