🚨🐝 BEE SWARM RESCUE IN A WOOD FENCE! 🐝🚨 We were called to remove a swarm of bees that was lodged inside a wood fence post, right next to a coffee plantation where workers had started harvesting. However, during the work, some people ended up getting stung and the work had to be interrupted. Upon arriving at the site, we realized that access to the swarm's natural entrance was very difficult, so we opened a window on the opposite side of the wood to facilitate the rescue. At first, we thought that perhaps the swarm was queenless, as there was food in the combs, but almost no closed brood. Later, upon closer inspection, we found eggs and understood that it was a recent swarming, where some of the bees had left the area in search of a larger space. The queen was young and, even after we placed the combs in the box, the bees were quite resistant to entering. That's when Juliano managed to locate the queen, place her in the cage, and secure her inside the box. With great calm, patience, and care, we guided the bees until, little by little, they began to accept their new home.
