During a visit to this area, we discovered an abandoned house and decided to clean it up. After talking to the neighbors, we learned that this house once belonged to a coffee plantation owner. He had scammed the locals, seizing 1,200 tons of coffee, before fleeing abroad. The house is now confiscated by the bank, and access is restricted to prevent theft of any remaining belongings. The locals harbor a deep hatred for the former owner, and they associate the house with unpleasant memories. When we offered to clean the house for free, some neighbors tried to stop us, saying it was a crazy idea. However, others supported the initiative, hoping the house could be cleared up to look more presentable and less eerie when passing by. Despite the mixed reactions, we decided to go ahead with the project.
