Long Ashton tenor bell test ring up June 2020

After a few months of silence at Long Ashton. And after completing the maintenance of the bells. Today the bells were test rung up and back down at Long Ashton. Here I am ringing the tenor bell up making sure it is ok after 3 months of being stood still. All the bells are good to return to ringing after today as and when we are allowed to ring again. The bell cast in 1903 by Taylor’s of Loughborough weighs 30.3.23cwt 1.5 tons in Db Each bell had been tested today and we look forward to ringing once we’re allowed to again.
