Continental ringing at Long Ashton 20/12/2020
Some continental style ringing at Long Ashton. Home to the 11th heaviest ring of 8 bells in the world! Tenor 30.3.23cwt in Db Here this video features the back three bells the 6th at 13.1.22cwt and the tenor at 30.3.23cwt both half swinging. They are joined by the 7th at 19.2.9cwt which is being rung via the chiming hammer. This was rung for today’s service. This is the style of ringing used at long Ashton since July 2020. Hopefully in 2021 we can return as a set of 8 bells once again! Enjoy.
