A Starry Sky by Anthony Chmielewski

The TCU Percussion Ensemble, conducted by Joe Donohue, performs the world premiere of "Synchronize" by Anthony Chmielewski live on 11-19-24. A Starry Sky (2024) – Anthony Chmielewski Stars are some of nature’s most beautiful sights. Although these celestial bodies are inconceivably large, they appear as tiny specks in the night sky. Our ability to see thousands of these objects in a single frame of view can create extraordinary moments in our lives. Nowadays, light pollution prevents many of us from seeing stars at night. While this is unfortunate, it turns stargazing into a rare but wondrous opportunity. A Starry Sky is an ode to these breathtaking moments. -notes by the composer
