Bruce Area Solid Waste Recycling MSC Business Case Study Town Hall Meeting July 7, 2026

Residents were invited to participate in a Virtual Town Hall on July 7, 2026 facilitated by KPMG Canada, to learn more about the proposed governance model for BASWR. This session was part of the ongoing public consultation process to gather resident feedback on the governance and operating model for Bruce Area Solid Waste Recycling (BASWR). The Town Hall was focused on proposed changes in the governance structure of BASWR, and not on the operations or service delivery of the organization. Participants received an overview of BASWR's current governance structure and the purpose of the Municipal Services Corporation Business Case, learned about governance changes being considered, and asked KPMG questions.
