'Between', Jacopo Di Cera riporta la vita nel Grande Cretto di Burri

How do you restore life to a place created to preserve one of the deepest wounds in Italian memory? This is the question behind "Between," Jacopo Di Cera's video installation presented at Gibellina Photoroad 2026 and hosted until September 6th at the Museo delle Trame Mediterranee. Created as a residency at Alberto Burri's Grande Cretto and produced in collaboration with HF4 Art Hub, the work engages the residents of Gibellina and symbolically brings everyday gestures back to the monument's streets: children playing soccer, elderly people sitting playing cards, a woman hanging out laundry, a little girl on a bicycle. All this is projected on six monitors [provided by Ninfa Labs, ed.]. "The Grande Cretto is a monument to life and death, to what is no longer there.
